

Before co-founding Assembly Advisory, she led communications at the Gates Foundation in Brussels and various European countries, notably Germany, for more than eight years. Through her work at the foundation in both Europe and Japan, she supported numerous successful global resource mobilization efforts, including for Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Emily previously worked as a financial communications advisor to various FTSE 100 and international clients at the strategic communications firm Brunswick.
She holds a doctorate in History from the University of Cambridge, where her research examined the emergence of economic interdependence between the United States and China.
